About Job

The Sales Leader for North America will manage and own the GTM aspects of Acante’s business. Your proven experience and track record is necessary to lead all aspects of the business development and sales cycle from beginning to end. Experience in selling software solutions to enterprises is a MUST.

Details:

  • Direct sales and opportunity generation: create, qualify, manage, and close sales opportunities and direct business development
  • Recruit, on-board and mentor the initial team of world class sellers and solution architects
  • Identify, recruit and enable Acante reseller channel including onboarding and goal setting.
  • Oversee full sales lifecycle alongside cross-functional teams such as engineering, marketing, product, etc.
  • Take ownership of the forecast and revenue.  Set priorities and keep the team focused on the important tasks to meet business and revenue goals

Partner with other engineers and designers to create fast and beautiful end-to-end user experiences
Build web applications on AWS ecosystem
Balance agility with quality, performance, and maintainability; create reusable code and libraries for future use
Shape product strategy and guide feature prioritization
Conduct proof of concept activities with customers in support of use cases
Lead and mentor other team members as the company grows

Ideal Candidate:

  • 10+ years of enterprise field sales experience. Experience within the data and/or security software space is strongly preferred
  • Successful experience working in both large and small/emerging company environments
  • Successful track record of introducing new product(s) into the IT market, executing business development, ramping pipeline, and closing meaningful business
  • Excellent executive level verbal and written communication, presentation,
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed to achieve GTM objectives

Strong CS fundamentals with a track record of writing production-quality code
Full stack development experience with expertise in React frontend framework and technologies
Experience with GraphQL and NodeJS (preferably NestJS)
Experience with building web applications on AWS ecosystem
(Some) experience with SSO and web authentication
Experience with different stores like S3, Typesense, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
Excellent product/design sense and attention to detail
B.S. in Computer Science with 7+ years of experience
PLUS: Development experience in Github Actions or Cloudformation or Terraform
